1. Use of the App
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age required in your region) to use the App.
- You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and activities that occur under your account.
2. Features and Purpose
WanderMoose helps users discover photo spots in British Columbia (BC), Canada, and may expand to additional areas across Canada. Users can view locations, save favourites, explore paths, and interact with community content.
3. User-Generated Content
You may post comments, upload photos, or share other content (“User Content”). When doing so, you agree that:
- You own or have permission to share the content.
- Your content does not violate any laws or infringe on others’ rights.
- You grant WonderHow a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the App.
We reserve the right to remove any content that is inappropriate, harmful, or violates these Terms.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Upload or share unlawful, harmful, or offensive content.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the App.
- Use the App for commercial purposes without our permission.
5. Beta Status & Availability
WanderMoose is currently in beta and offered for free. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Intellectual Property
- All App content (excluding User Content) such as text, images, logos, and code is owned by WonderHow or licensed to us.
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
8. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., maps, authentication). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the App, its accuracy, availability, or fitness for any purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WonderHow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or use the App in a harmful or unlawful manner.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App with a new effective date. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
